Valencia CF and Getafe CF meet each other this Sunday on matchday 23 in the Liga BBVA.

Nuno Espírito Santo's side go into the match aiming to continue for another week in fourth spot after leapfrogging Sevilla following last weeK’s 2-1 win at RCD Espanyol. But they face a tough test against a Getafe side on the rise, having won two of their last three matches.

Team news

Valencia have to deal with two important absentees, with Paco Alcácer injured and André Gomes suspended. Ángel Lafita, Karim Yoda and Babá Diawara are all out for the visitors due to injury.

"This is a home game and we want to get all three points. Getafe will come to Mestalla to make things difficult for us, but we are motivated by winning," said Valencia coach Nuno Espírito Santo.

Getafe boss Quique Sánchez Flores is excited about returning to the club he used to play for and coach: "Returning to Valencia is always special, I have great memories of my experience there, but that does not mean we won't be going all out to win."
