Valencia CF appoint Albert Celades as their new coach

Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Albert Celades to be their new coach, after parting company with Marcelino Garcia Toral earlier on Wednesday.

In an official statement, Valencia said: "The club wish to thank Marcelino for his hard work and dediction during his time as coach, and wish him the best of success for the future.”

Albert Celades steps in with the club lying tenth in LaLiga Santander and with a high-profile debut ahead of him this weekend, away to FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou.
