Two teams, one goal; a return to winning ways

RC Deportivo and Málaga CF square off in the Riazor on Saturday in one of the Liga BBVA matchday 14 clashes. Both teams are looking for victory as the Galicians have not picked up three points since matchday eight and the Andalusians have just suffered two consecutive defeats.

Lucas Pérez, who is still recovering from a left knee injury, will be the most significant absentee for the home team. For the visitors, Vitorino Antunes, Miguel Torres and Duda are the biggest new names on the list of 18 players.

Deportivo's manager, Víctor Fernández, spoke of Málaga's quality: "Their essence won't change, they have some high quality, very pacey players with a lot of individual skill and they've come through a difficult start to the season".

For his part, the visiting manager, Javi Gracia, was in an ambitious mood: "I will not settle for anything in terms of the standings, we have a constant need. The demand must be daily and, from there, we'll have a good championship".
