Liga BBVA matchday eight comes to an end with a game between Real Sociedad and Getafe CF. The Anoeta will provide the stage for a clash in which the two sides are separated by just two points. The Basque outfit are in 16th  place and the side from the capital in 14th.

Team news
Jagoba Arrasate, the Txuri-Urdin's manager, will reveal his final squad in the hours leading up to the game. The coach, aware of what is at stake for his team, wants all his men to be present for the game. For his part, Cosmin Contra, the Azulones coach, will have to make do without Álvaro Vázquez and Álvaro Arroyo, both of whom are injured.

Views from the dugout
"It is a key game, because we are playing at home; it has to be the start of a positive run, which would allow us to climb up the table. However, I don't think we need to treat it as a final", stated Jagoba Arrasate.

Getafe's Romanian coach analysed his opponents: "Last year I really liked Real, they played very attractive and attacking football. Their elimination from the Europa League has taken its toll on them. I think the Anoeta is a very difficult ground, as they have players who can make the difference at any time, such as Carlos Vela and Xabi Prieto".
