Granada while travel to El Madrigal without injured players Jeison Murillo, Sulayman and Rubén Rochina. Granada players Piti, Juan Carlos, Jhon Córdoba y Fran Rico are all set to play but are just one yellow card away from a suspension that would see them miss the following week’s home game with Athletic Club.
The view from the dugout
Villarreal defender Mateo Musacchio believes his team "are in great form at the moment”as they remain in all three competitions, but insisted they were not yet thinking about next Wednesday’s Copa del Rey semi-final first leg game at FC Barcelona. "First of all we are facing Granada, a very difficult team."
New Granada signing Daniel Candeias also spoke before the match: "We know that they have a good team, but we have to be focused on going out to win the match and think about nothing else."
