Levante UD host Real Sociedad in their Liga BBVA matchday 16 game. Both sides have 14 points and a win would mean some breathing space in the table.
Team news
The Granotas' manager, Lucas Alcaraz, has left Jaime Gavilán, Issam El Adoua, Jordi Xumetra, Pedro López, Víctor Pérez, Víctor Camarasa out of his squad for technical reasons and Héctor Rodas because of a niggle. David Moyes, Real's coach, will have to make do without David Zurutuza and Carlos Vela for the match, both of whom are unfit to play.
Views from the dugout
Lucas Alcaraz would like his team to continue in the same vein as their latest matches: "In recent games we have competed well. We have to be very demanding and minimize errors and have the level of intensity as previous matches".
The Scottish manager spoke about the importance of ending 2014 with a win: "It is really important we try to finish the season on a high note so that we can look forward, we don't want to be looking behind us. It's going to be a tough game, it is never an easy place to get a victory".
