The 18th matchday of the Spanish topflight gets underway with a crucial clash: Levante UD-RC Deportivo. The two teams are separated by just one point and are on the brink of the danger zone.
Team news
The Granotas' coach, Lucas Alcaraz, has called up 19 players for the match. Toño García, Héctor Rodas, Gavilán, Víctor Pérez and Víctor Camarasa, who were not selected, and Pape Diop, who will be with Senegal in the African Cup, will not play.
For Deportivo, the most significant change is that of Oriol Riera, who just arrived at the Galician side in the winter transfer market. Hélder Postiga, Lucas Pérez and Luis Fariña are injured, and Diogo Salomão was not selected.

"You have to fight with determination; all the matches will be important and even winning this isn't enough. We have to stick with it and be strong but I am here to get the team through this", stated Lucas Alcaraz.
His counterpart, Víctor Fernández, gave his take on the game: "We have to play with great intensity. We are very well physically prepared. It will be a very intense and tight game, and we have to be ready for it. All of us down the bottom need points and that adds to the tension of the match".
