Spoils shared in the Nuevo Los Cármenes

Granada CF and CA Osasuna remain in the middle of the table in the Liga BBVA after a goalless draw in the Nuevo Los Cármenes in a very tight game. Both sides were rock-solid in defence and the scoreboard remained unchanged for 90 minutes.

It was a lively first half between two teams who have similar objectives in the Liga BBVA. After a few minutes of probing from the both sides, it was Oriol Riera, the visiting striker, who had the first chance but his shot was deflected wide. The home team did not sit back and occasionally pressed their opposition to create chances, but a header from midfielder José Luis García 'Recio' hit the post for Granada.

The break did nothing to change the game and both sides resorted to long-range efforts to try and tip the balance in their favour, but neither was able to take the victory. The draw means that both the Andalusians and the team from Navarre move a little further away from the relegation zone.
