A mouth-watering encounter at the Sánchez-Pizjuán as SD Eibar travel to take on Sevilla. Unai Emery’s men have had a good start to the season, but nothing compared to La Liga debutants Eibar, as the Armeros look like they could even make it into Europe next year.

The home side are without the suspended Carriço, as well as their Polish midfielder Krychowiak, who has an ankle injury. For Eiber, Manu del Moral has a clause in his contract preventing him from turning out against his old club Sevilla, while Boateng is in contention in spite of a recent tendinitis problem, and Saúl Berjón is out with a muscle strain.
Views from the dugout
Sevilla Coach Emery likened Eibar to last year’s La Liga champions: “They’re not all that different from Atlético Madrid, though it’s obviously less of a luxury squad.” Gaizka Garitano also underlined his side’s excellent form, while accepting his team wasn’t there yet: “When you’re coming off the back of two wins, the important thing is to maintain your hunger.”
