Spain manager Vicente del Bosque announced his list of 23 players for the UEFA EURO 2016 qualifiers against Slovakia (9 October) and Luxemburg (12 October).
The biggest changes are the inclusion of Valencia CF forward Rodrigo Moreno and FC Bayern München’s left-back, Juan Bernat. "Rodrigo and Bernat are playing well and they should be in this team for many years to come", said Vicente Del Bosque of the coaching staff’s feeling on the two new players.
As well as the newcomers, FC Barcelona defender, Gerard Piqué was also included in the squad and the manager stated: "Piqué has played a lot of matches with us and he is a useful player for us". Players such as Paco Alcácer, who received their first call up a few months back, are also on the list for the upcoming games.

Goalkeepers: Iker Casillas (Real Madrid CF), David De Gea (Manchester United FC), Kiko Casilla (RCD Espanyol).
Defenders: Dani Carvajal (Real Madrid CF), Juanfran Torres (Club Atlético de Madrid), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid CF), Gerard Piqué (FC Barcelona), César Azpilicueta (Chelsea FC), Jordi Alba (FC Barcelona), Raúl Albiol (SSC Napoli), Juan Bernat (FC Bayern München).
Midfielders: Ander Iturraspe (Athletic Club), Sergio Busquets (FC Barcelona), Koke Resurrección (Club Atlético de Madrid), Andrés Iniesta (FC Barcelona), Santi Cazorla (Arsenal FC), Cesc Fàbregas (Chelsea FC), Raúl García (Club Atlético de Madrid), David Silva (Manchester City FC).
