Real Sociedad and Córdoba CF meet on matchday 28 of the Liga BBVA. David Moyes's side, who have won two on the trot – including a first away victory of the season – will be aiming to continue their good recent results. Córdoba, with José Antonio Romero making his debut in the dugout, will attempt to boost their chances in their fight for survival.
Team news
For the first time this term, los txuri-urdin will have everyone available. Carlos Vela has recovered from an injury to the meniscus in his right knee and Yuri Berchiche trained as normal despite suffering fitness issues at the start of the week. Córdoba, on the other hand, will have four players out injured: Nabil Ghilas, Fede Vico, José Ángel Crespo and Deivid. In addition, two regulars in Patrick Ekeng and Fausto Rossi have been left out of the squad.
Views from the dugout
Real Sociedad boss Moyes declared that his team's intention is to be "looking up in the league" and to do so they need to "keep winning games". "We have to finish March with a victory; it would give us a big platform," he said.
Romero stressed that los verdiblancos will set their stall out at Anoeta to show "assurance, balance and a high level of commitment". "We're out to win," he explained. "We have to approach every match looking to win and we’ve instilled that into the group."
