Week 27 in the Liga BBVA pits two direct rivals for survival against each other, as Rayo Vallecano host Granada CF. After the 6-1 defeat at the Camp Nou, the Madrid side want to regain their confidence in front of their own fans against the Andalusians, who are penultimate in the table with 22 points but picked up a vital victory over Málaga last week.

Team news
The Vallecas outfit will be without defender Roberto Román 'Tito' through suspension and goalkeeper Toño is injuried, while Granada will bring the same squad to Madrid that beat Málaga.

View from the dugouts
The aim for both teams in this match is to give their fans a victory and move up the league table as soon as possible, as Rayo coach Paco Jémez made clear in his pre-match press conference: "We hope to continue to offer up victories to our fans and keep looking ahead so we can take the team as high as possible."

Abel Resino, the Granada coach, gave a similar message: "We're going to see two teams in special circumstances, above all us because we want to win again away from home, because we know Rayo’s style of play, and because we are both teams that like to play attacking football."
