Nolito saves Celta

Real Sociedad and RC Celta drew 1-1 in matchday 22 of Liga BBVA. Although the Basque outfit led for much of the game, a Nolito goal towards the end meant that the spoils were shared at the Estadio de Anoeta.

The game started in the best possible fashion for Real Sociedad, who went ahead after eight minute. Imanol Agirretxe made it 1-0 after he nodded home an Estaban Granero centre from the right. After, Agirretxe might have scored again with a volley, however Sergio Álvarez came to his side's rescue. Celta tried to play their football during the first half, but their only clear chance was Santi Mina’s effort that flew past the post.

Santi Mina again had some of the Galician side’s best chances in the second half, however goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli twice denied him. Their efforts finally did pay off five minutes from the end, when Nolito, who scored the winner against Córdoba CF last time out, made it 1-1 as his effort flew in off the post.
