LALIGA EXPERIENCE guests rocked to the beat of the drums in San Sebastián

The city of San Sebastian was a real party before, during and after Real Sociedad's spectacular clash with FC Barcelona, which marked the culmination of an intense and unforgettable few days for the guests on the last stop of the LALIGA EXPERIENCE. With just 24 hours to go before the start of the big day of its patron saint festivities, the city got a preview with the victory and celebration of its team's well-deserved triumph.

DAZN Portugal, DAZN Japan and TV4 Sports Sweden were the protagonists of an experience designed by LALIGA to suit them, and it did not disappoint. The journalists, network representatives and content creators who travelled to San Sebastián from Thursday to Monday enjoyed an experience in which they immersed themselves in Basque culture, which exceeded their expectations and left them with a piece of Real Sociedad and the city of Donostia in their hearts.

The Basque club was the perfect host, opening the doors to both its renovated training ground and the Anoeta stadium, where they were able to see practically every corner, including the changing rooms. In addition, Real Sociedad allowed our guests to interview some of its big stars and fulfil amets bat (a dream). Journalists from DAZN Japan interviewed their compatriot Take Kubo, TV4 Sports interviewed Croatian Duje Ćaleta-Car, and representatives from DAZN Portugal did the same with Gonçalo Guedes.

The Portuguese footballer himself promised DAZN Portugal's guests that if he scored a goal against FC Barcelona, he would celebrate by doing the airplane, and not only did he do so, but he also went over to them in the stands to remind them. They were also able to chat with him about it after the match in the flash zone.

The match was the perfect end to four days full of unforgettable moments and surrounded by tradition in the run-up to San Sebastián's big festival. The drums were already echoing through the streets of the city, which our guests explored as if it were their etxea (home) and where they were able to enjoy the incredible local cuisine thanks to its pintxos.
