Match 26 of the Liga BBVA drew to a close with a 1-2 win for Getafe CF against Córdoba. The home side went ahead through Florin Andone, who was brought on during the second half, however a Fede Vico own goal in the 87th minute followed by a Juan Rodríguez header in the 92nd resulted in a victory for the Madrid outfit.

The game began with two goalscoring opportunities, the first fell to Nabil Ghilas in the 7th minute, and second saw Sergio Escudero try his luck with a long-range effort. The Córdoba number 14 had another chance to open the scoring but he was not able to get past Vicente Guaita. The goalkeeper from Torrent was the star of the show in the 36' when he saved an Edu Campabadal shot from a corner. Just before the half-time whistle sounded, Bebé also unsuccessfully put the Getafe keeper to the test.

The tempo dropped off after the restart, as did the amount of chances. Once again it was the home side that looked the more eager to get off the mark; Ghilas picked up the ball on the edge of the box but his shot flew over the bar. As the minutes ticked by both managers began to make changes in order to shake up the game and find a way of taking all three points. The deadlock was finally broken by Florin Andone in the 78th minute. A poor clearance by Fede Vico levelled the scoreline nine minutes later. Getafe completed their comeback in injury time when Juan Rodríguez headed home a Sarabia corner kick.
