The curtain closes on matchday 24 of the Liga BBVA with a bottom of the table clash between Levante UD and Granada CF, two sides that have only won one of their last five games and urgently need to start putting points on the board. Whichever team comes out on top will be able to put some distance between themselves and their direct rivals in the race to climb out of the drop zone.

Team news

Nabil El Zhar and Pedro López are out injured for Levante for this important match. Meanwhile, Abel Resino’s Granada will travel to the Ciutat de València without five of the players who featured in their last game, as Emanuel Insúa, Jhon Córdoba, Piti and Fran Rico are all suspended.

Impressions from the dugouts

"We are only focused on the Granada match because each game that passes sets a trend. You have to concentrate on the next game, which is always the most important one", pointed out Lucas Alcaraz, the home team’s manager, on the topic of the importance of this meeting. Meanwhile, Abel Resino also expressed the significance of the upcoming encounter for his side’s aspirations: "We are really going to be up for this because this is a crucial match".
