SD Eibar play hosts to Málaga CF on matchday 30 of the Liga BBVA. This is a fixture the Basques will be desperately trying to pick up points from in order to put an end to their miserable run of form, while the Andalusians will not want to fall behind in their hunt for a European place.
Team news
Federico Piovaccari and Raúl Navas will be unavailable for Eibar for this game as both men are carrying suspensions. Ángel Luis Rodríguez will also be out as he is recovering from an appendicitis operation. With regards to the Costa del Sol outfit, Samu Castillejo and Sergio Sánchez are both suspended. However, Flávio Ferreira makes his way back into Javi Gracia’s plans after getting over a back injury.

Gaizka Garitano emphasised that his players are "highly motivated" and that an elusive win "is just around the corner" for his team. He also stated that "Málaga are one of the best sides in La Liga, but Eibar gave them a good game during the first half of the season". Elsewhere, the Málaga boss, Javi Gracia, said that his team are not focusing on the upcoming rival’s poor run of form: "We will be on our toes because they have a lot of potential. And we will also be looking to improve on our record away from home".
