Matchday 22 in the Liga BBVA kicks off with a duel between RC Deportivo and SD Eibar. The Basques will be trying to get back to winning ways after losing three games on the bounce so they can continue with their superb maiden season in the top flight. Meanwhile, the Galicians, who won last week in Vallecas, will be looking to give their home supporters something to cheer about by winning at Riazor.
Team News
The Basques will travel to Coruña without Lillo and Abraham Minero, who are both suspended, and striker Manu del Moral, who is injured. Depor will be missing José Rodríguez and Luis Fariña through suspension, and Hélder Postiga and Sidnei Rechel are injured.
View from the dugout
Gaizka Garitano, Eibar coach: "We have to play well, because we need to strengthen our team spirit. We have to be optimistic. We have played well in the last few matches, but we have been criticised for our recent results and that should serve us well because it will oblige us to pull our socks up and work hard. I'm not trying to say that the team isn’t trying hard, but we need to be more alert on occasion so that we can improve on our results."
Iván Cavaleiro, Deportivo striker: "We have firm objectives, we are full of confidence and united and that’s vital for the team. If we keep going in the same direction we could go even further."
