Matchday 19 of the Liga BBVA gets underway with RC Deportivo - Getafe CF, two teams that are in similar situations and separated by just two points in the division. The home side, after beating Valencia in their last fixture at their ground, have started to climb the table, while the Azulones, though losing their most recent game against Atlético Madrid, fought hard until the end against the Liga BBVA champions.

Juan Domínguez returns for the Galicians for this encounter, though their manager, Víctor Fernández, will be without Manuel Pablo, Lucas Pérez and Diogo Salomão. As for Getafe, defender Carlos Vigaray is the most notable addition to the Azulones’ matchday squad, along with Míchel Herrero and Álvaro Arroyo, who return from injury.

"It's a very important game for us: it would multiply the value of our draw in Barcelona and we need to win again. I’m certain that the Riazor will come alive again as it did in the game against Valencia", said Víctor Fernández.
Getafe boss Cosmin Contra, meanwhile, spoke of the spirit that his players are showing on the field: "I'm very proud of the attitude shown by the players in the last game. We have to keep the bar high. With this mentality, the team will win a lot of games".
