Córdoba CF and Levante UD will lock horns in one of the direct clashes of matchday 15 of the Liga BBVA. The Andalusian side earned their first victory in the Liga BBVA in the last round against Athletic Club (0-1), so Miroslav Djukić’s men go into the clash against Levante in high spirits. Their opposition drew 1-1 to Getafe CF in their previous fixture.

The home side have their whole squad available for the encounter, while the Granotas are without Héctor Rodas, who has strained his left hamstring. His team-mates El Zhar, El Adoua, Xumetra, Pedro López, Victor Pérez and Camarasa have all been left out of the matchday squad travelling to Córdoba.

The visiting manager, Lucas Alcatraz, had words of praise for his old team and home club: "We're adversaries but I admire them. It will be a very intense game, requiring us to do things well; they will press hard and we have to be ready". His counterpart Djukić said that "It's an important game against an immediate rival. It will practically allow us to climb out of the relegation zone, so that's another incentive. We’re going for the win from the first minute".
