In Matchday 14, Monday's 17:00 kickoff in La Liga BBVA sees Eibar host Almería. The home side, promoted to the division last season, seem to have overcome their difficult start, as evidenced by their impressive 0-1 win last week against Celta. Almeria’s situation could hardly be more different, as they arrive at the notoriously difficult Ipurua having lost four in five.

Team news
Eibar coach Gaizka Garitano is without Dídac Vila, while Abraham will have to pass a late fitness test to see if he’s overcome some bruised ribs. The Andalucian are without centre back Verza, normally one of the first names on the team sheet, through suspension, as well as Fran Veléz, who has a spasming biceps femoris.

View from the dugouts
Garitano stressed the importance of the match against Almería: "This is one of our most important matches of the season and we'll need to give our everything to win. We’re expecting an evenly matched game, one that will be decided by fine margins. It would mean more than three points to us to win." Francisco had this to say: "We’ll take on Eibar in the same frame of mind as we did Rayo, with ambition and aggression."
