RC Celta and FC Barcelona meet at 21:00 on Sunday on matchday 29 in the Liga BBVA, giving Luis Enrique the opportunity to face the team he coached before making the step up to the Catalan club as a result of the good work he did with the Galicians last season.

Eduardo Berrizo's side beat the Blaugranas 1-0 at Camp Nou earlier this season and so Barça will have to give everything they have if they want to take the three points away with them. Luis Enrique has never beaten Celta as a coach (neither with Barça nor Barça B) but Barça have not lost at Balaídos since 2004.

Team news

Celta are without David Costas, Lévy Madinda, Borja Oubiña and Carles Planas through injury, while Luis Enrique will have to make do without the suspended Javier Mascherano and the injured Jordi Alba, while Thomas Vermaelen, Douglas Pereira and Jordi Masip will also miss the trip to Balaídos.

The view from the dugouts

The Barcelona coach said Celta "are a dangerous team that plays good football and are having a great season" and said Vigo "will always be a special place" to him. He added: "Celta are even more dangerous because they need to pick up points."

His opposite number Eduardo Berizzo meanwhile says he believes his side can repeat their Camp Nou triumph and do the double on the Catalans. He said: "We are motivated by the dream of beating Barcelona again. We always aim to play attacking football and it will be no different this time around". He also revealed his side’s plan: "We will try and have the ball as much as possible so we suffer as little as possible."
