Atlético Madrid and Getafe CF will play out another Madrid derby in the Liga BBVA this weekend. The Rojiblancos will want to get back on the path to victory against Pablo Franco’s side, who will be looking to stun the fans in the Vicente Calderón, a stadium they haven’t won in since 2009-10. The hosts are also looking to win back third place after Valencia CF overtook them last week, and a victory is vital to that objective.

"We have to play an intense game knowing that we need a win and we have to go out looking for it from the first whistle. We need to win so we can hold onto this important position we have in the table", said Atlético boss Simeone.
His opposite number Pablo Franco, meanwhile, outlined the best way for his side to take the three points away fro the Vicente Calderón: "We cannot let them run, we have to match them in intensity and counteract their power".
