Liga BBVA matchday 12 has thrown up a derby in Valencia; Levante UD and Valencia CF come into the game with very different mind-sets. Lucas Alcaraz's men will be bidding for a victory that would get them out of the relegation zone and Valencia are hoping to keep their UEFA Champions League spot.
Team news
Levante will have to cope without the injured Rafael Martins. Valencia, for their part, will be missing local striker Paco Alcácer, but Nuno Espírito Santo will be happy to have Dani Parejo back in the fold.
Views from the dugout
Lucas Alcaraz, Levante's coach, has spoken of the significance the game may have: "The team are excited about the match, it is a derby and that makes it more important, but it is still just another game that we have to put 100% into". The Portuguese coach from the dugout in the Mestalla highlighted his opponent's strengths: "We have to play well and compete because our opponents have improved, they know exactly what they are doing now, they don't leave as many spaces and are very organised".
