Matchday eight in Liga BBVA will see Athletic Club face RC Celta. With both sides losing before the international break to Real Madrid and Villarreal respectively, they both want to get back to winning ways, albeit with different objectives. Ernesto Valverde's men want to move away from the drop zone, while Eduardo Berizzo's side are looking to move up with the big boys.

Iker Muniain is Athletic's only doubt for the match. Meanwhile Celta will go to San Mamés without the injured Augusto Fernández, Borja Oubiña and Fontàs, while youngster Levy Madinda, is away on international duty with Gabon.

Moving away from the danger zone is Athletic’s principal objective, and as Valverde confirmed, they are aware of the importance of the tie: "We need to win, maybe more than ever because we are at the foot of the table". Berizzo thinks that he has the key to stopping a motivated Bilbao side: "Using the ball will be vital, and making sure they can't press us".
